Cultural visit to Johannesburg building upon the international twinning links between Johannesburg and Birmingham.

Black History Month this year (2002) has a special aspect of the twinning between Johannesburg and Birmingham. Ayesha has recently returned from a mystical journey to Johannesburg Africa that was prompted by a dream.

The visit was joint-funded by European Links an Arts & Culture Dept at Birmingham Council. A speedy request was met with enthusiasm as the dream involved a personal "City Message"delivered by one of 108 peace loving dreamtime animal-people visualised as taking up residence here in our city. However it was news of a "Circle of Hearts" Medicine wheels construction, made up of exactly the equal number of stones (108) in our sister city Johannesburg that prompted Ayesha to request assistance to visit the site and network.

Johannesburg was the city to Network in August / September on issues of a spiritual nature, as the World Sustainability Conference was playing out as a backdrop to the visit. I met with a number of special individuals - www.arkofhope.org - whilst out there who were on their own special journey as Africa which is the original home of all people according to archeologists out there in Sterkfontein. (www.cradleofhumankind.co.za) A belief I personally resonate with.

At present Ayesha has decided to develop the dream to be used as a "city story" and network through interested schools and has made an application to WMA for funding to reach this objective. You can link to the site and view the stones on www.8thfire.com where you can pick up on the Hopi Indian inspired to build the medicine wheel and join forces with his efforts to de-fence areas and create common ground for spiritual energizing. The building process I learned involves careful consideration to the solar and lunar events that occur in the above areas and so building is intentionally timed. The synchronicity of the arrival of these peace loving dreamtime animal-people has coincided with a special movement of the stars above which is comforting and has been a constant source of amazement, and inspiration, which has only been heightened by connecting with Johannesburg and her recently inaugurated 108 stone monument. The message these animal-people bear is that they are gathering to perform an initiation ceremony that will affect the critical mass event of opening an ancient source of peace-energy, a source that is on a 5,000-year cycle and therefore very important to the peace on earth plans. They will then be ready to celebrate the coming of peace on earth.

Ayesha is actively working alongside these spirits to bring the two cities together in a practical way, there are plans to connect Birmingham up with www.earthdance.org in Africa in time for the Black Africa Month mid October. Although these events are moving at aboriginal speed somehow individuals are joining in to help out, for instance, Michael Brown who is connected to a local radio station is helping with the practical video link up equipment and venue at a valued pace. So watch this space.

I hope to raise interest in peace, celebration and unity during this Black Africa Month and share the vision with all those who live and love life. There will be a website dedicated to the dreamtime animal people that is under construction. So far I have the assistance of a local illustrator www.cyberjenn.com and Kate Doubleday a local African-Celtic singer songwriter, if there is anyone else inspired to join the team, please make contact.

Sweet Dreams.
